Singer/songwriter Gabriel Harley has been entertaining audiences across the Midwest for nearly twenty years. Whether rocking festival crowds with his full band or playing intimate, acoustic theatre shows Gabriel keeps audiences coming back with his trademark blend of poetic lyrics, catchy melodies, and musical storytelling.

Gabriel’s most recent album, Ghost of Better Days, was released worldwide in the fall of 2012 and features songs written by himself and co-writer Matt Nolen (John Fogerty, Trace Adkins).

The CD thrums with the warm crunch of vintage tube amps, brassy ring of well-worn acoustic guitars, thunder of classic Gretsch and Slingerland drum kits, as well as Hammond Organ and Mellotron. Brimming with echoes of times and places past, highlights include the title track’s Southern Gothic storyline, wistful tunes about lost love (“Come On Home (Autumn)”, “Ice”) and odes to some of Gabriel’s own haunts (communing with the Beat Generation in “San Francisco” or wandering New Orleans’ vampire-stalked streets in a cover of Sting’s “Moon Over Bourbon Street”).
